KVKK Information Notice

This notice is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). It explains, in the capacity of data controller, which personal data KAF Industries processes, for what purposes, to whom it may be transferred and what rights you hold.

Identity and contact data: name and surname, company, job title if provided, email address, telephone number.

Transaction and customer data: the content of your enquiry, correspondence, quotations issued and, where a commercial relationship exists, order and delivery records.

Technical data: pages visited on the website, language version, referring address, and date and time of visit.

Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations; conducting and following up commercial relationships; performing supply, sourcing and logistics processes; fulfilling obligations arising from commercial, tax and export legislation; ensuring the security of our systems and improving the website.

Article 5/2-c: processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract.

Article 5/2-ç: processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller.

Article 5/2-f: processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Where none of these apply, processing is carried out on the basis of your explicit consent.

Personal data is collected in electronic form through the contact form on this website, by email, by telephone and through business correspondence, and automatically through server side website statistics.

Your data may be transferred, limited to the requirements of the transaction, to suppliers and manufacturers quoting your requirement, to freight forwarders and customs brokers, to our email service provider, and to authorised public institutions where legislation requires it.

Because our activity is cross border trade, fulfilling an enquiry may require transfer abroad within the scope of Article 9 of the Law. Such transfers are limited to the business contact and transaction data necessary to complete the requested work.

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about the processing; to learn its purpose and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7; to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; to object to a result produced solely by automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

You may submit your request in writing to the address below or by email. Requests are answered within thirty days at the latest, as required by the Law.

The website is served over HTTPS. Administrative systems are protected by password authentication, and access to personal data is limited to employees who need it for their work.
