What we take on

A direct account of the work we do across our six business groups, the situations we are brought into, and the work we turn down.

Buyers evaluating a trading and sourcing partner want to know one thing: can this company actually handle what I need. This page answers that as directly as we can, by describing the types of work we take on rather than by listing logos.

We do not publish customer names or transaction details. In industrial trade, supply relationships, pricing structures and sourcing routes are commercially sensitive, and buyers rely on us not to expose them. A supplier who publishes one client's arrangements will publish yours too.

What we can do is describe the shape of the work honestly, including where our capability ends. If your requirement falls outside it, we would rather say so at the first conversation than discover it three months into a project.

The work we take on

Each business group is brought in for a fairly consistent set of situations. These are the ones that make up the majority of our enquiries.

Cryogenic Equipment

Equipment specification and supply

Sourcing vacuum insulated tanks, vaporisers, transport equipment and spare parts, with new, pre-owned and rental routes compared side by side. We handle specification, supplier selection, inspection of certificates and condition, logistics and customs.

What a typical engagement looks like
A gas distributor needs additional storage capacity, or a plant is being commissioned and needs equipment on site before a fixed start date. The work runs from consumption analysis through to commissioning support.

Industrial Gases

Gas supply structuring

Matching a gas requirement to a producer that can meet the purity and packaging specification, then negotiating supply terms and keeping deliveries predictable. Cylinders, bundles, dewars and bulk supply are all in scope.

What a typical engagement looks like
A manufacturer is paying more than it should because the supply mode no longer fits its consumption, or a new site needs a supply arrangement set up from nothing.

Steel Products

Certified material and dished ends

Stainless and carbon steel sheet, plate and pipe, and dished ends formed to European and American profiles, sourced against the grade, dimensions and EN 10204 certificate type the design code requires.

What a typical engagement looks like
A pressure vessel fabricator needs plate and matching heads delivered to a fabrication schedule, with certification that will survive inspection rather than material that merely meets the grade on paper.

Textile

Apparel sourcing and production management

Factory matching, sampling, fabric booking, production follow up and quality control through to shipment. Volume programmes run through the sourcing office, low minimum collections through the studio operation.

What a typical engagement looks like
A brand has a design and a delivery date but no reliable production route, or an existing supplier relationship has broken down on quality or timing and needs replacing without losing the season.

Trade and Sourcing

Cross border sourcing and export

Supplier identification and verification, negotiation, contracting, inspection and trade documentation. The emphasis is on establishing that a counterparty is genuine before money moves, not on making introductions.

What a typical engagement looks like
A buyer needs to enter a supply market where it has no contacts and cannot assess counterparty risk, or a producer wants to reach a market where it has no distribution.

Business Advisory

Market and commercial advisory

Market entry assessment, supplier and distributor strategy, commercial and pricing review, and the practical mechanics of international trade, scoped against a defined question with a written deliverable.

What a typical engagement looks like
A company is deciding whether a market justifies entry, or wants a plan developed internally tested against how the market actually behaves before committing to it.

Where we add the most value

Specification before sourcing

Most costly procurement errors are made before a supplier is ever approached. We spend the effort at the specification stage, because equipment sized against a wrong assumption stays wrong for its service life.

Counterparty verification

Finding a supplier takes minutes. Establishing that it manufactures rather than resells, that its certification is genuine and that it can hold a commitment is the part that prevents losses.

Certification discipline

In pressure equipment and regulated supply, the wrong certificate type stops a project as effectively as the wrong material. We confirm the requirement at enquiry stage, not on delivery.

Independence from any one supplier

We do not own production, so we are not obliged to place your order with a particular factory. That is why we can quote new, pre-owned and rental routes against each other honestly.

Trade mechanics

Incoterms selection, payment structure, documentation and customs are handled as part of the work rather than left to the buyer once the goods are ready.

Working across markets

The group trades across Europe, Asia and the Middle East and works in nine languages, which matters when a negotiation depends on being understood precisely.

What we do not do

Being clear about this saves everyone time, and a partner who never declines anything is telling you something about how they work.

  • We do not manufacture. We are a trading and sourcing company, and equipment, material and garments are produced by the manufacturers and workshops we source from.
  • We do not take on categories where we have no real depth. Our strength is industrial and technical products together with textile, and outside that we will say so.
  • We do not offer general management consultancy. Our advisory work is anchored in trade, sourcing and market entry.
  • We do not quote a delivery date we cannot support. Where a lead time depends on a mill schedule or factory capacity, we say what is confirmed and what is not.
  • We do not publish customer names or transaction details, including yours.
  • We do not hide how we are paid. Commission, project fee or retainer is agreed and stated before work begins.
