Six specialized business groups

KAF Industries organizes its activities into six focused business groups. Each one combines sector experience, an international supply network and a commercial advisory approach.

How the six groups fit together

The six groups are not six separate companies. They run on one sourcing network, one trade and documentation function and one commercial team, which is what allows a range this wide to be handled without any single part of it being diluted.

The common thread is the process rather than the product. Whether the item is a vacuum insulated tank, a batch of stainless plate, an annual gas supply agreement or a container of perlite, the sequence does not change: define the specification precisely, verify a producer capable of meeting it, agree terms that protect the buyer, then follow the order through inspection, documentation, freight and customs.

Because that machinery is shared, adding a second requirement to an existing relationship costs little: a buyer already through supplier verification, payment structuring and customs on one product does not repeat that work on the next. None of this is a manufacturing claim. KAF Industries is a trading and sourcing company in all six groups, and production sits with the mills, gas producers, equipment manufacturers, workshops and factories we work with.

Cryogenic Equipment
01

Cryogenic Equipment

Specialized cryogenic equipment solutions covering new and pre-owned equipment, refurbishment, maintenance, and flexible rental services for a wide range of industrial applications.

Most enquiries reach this group as a capacity problem rather than an equipment order: a plant is short of storage, or a start date is fixed while the capital budget is not. Putting new, refurbished and rental routes side by side against the same requirement often changes the answer. The parts and service side sits here too, which is where existing installations are kept running.

Gases
02

Gases

International sourcing and supply of industrial, specialty, and selected application-specific gases, including carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, supported by strong supplier coordination and market expertise.

Gas work turns less on the molecule than on how it is packaged, priced and delivered across a full year of consumption. Many enquiries come from plants whose supply mode was set years ago and no longer matches what they use, which shows up as cost rather than as a fault. We read the consumption profile before looking at the supplier list.

Steel
03

Steel

Structured steel supply solutions across stainless and carbon steel products, including DKC Türkiye sales representation and dished end supply, combining mill access, project-focused sourcing, and commercial coordination.

Steel orders succeed or fail on certification and on the fabrication schedule. Material that matches the grade but arrives with the wrong EN 10204 certificate type is not usable material, and a delivery that slips two weeks in a vessel programme costs more than the price difference that caused it. Dished ends are the item most often mis-specified.

Textile
04

Textile

Textile and apparel operations of the Tekstil A.Ş. family: an international sourcing and production office, boutique production facilities and a sector-wide digital B2B platform with 2,000+ members.

This group manages production rather than running a factory floor, which is exactly what lets an order be placed where it belongs. Volume programmes, low-minimum boutique collections and technical outerwear each need a different type of facility. The B2B platform side gives unusually current visibility of who is genuinely producing what in the Turkish market.

International Trade & Sourcing
05

International Trade & Sourcing

Connecting customer requirements with global supply capabilities through international sourcing, supplier development, negotiation, and project-based trade coordination, including the supply of calcium carbide and perlite.

This is where a requirement that fits none of the product groups goes, and it is also the function the other five depend on: supplier verification, contract terms, inspection, documentation and shipment follow-up are run here for the whole company. Under its own name the group handles calcium carbide and perlite most regularly.

Business Advisory
06

Business Advisory

Practical advisory services focused on market intelligence, business development, commercial strategy, and international trade and sourcing opportunities.

Advisory sits deliberately close to the transactional work. The people answering a market entry or pricing question are the same ones quoting, shipping and chasing documents that month, so the answer reflects current conditions rather than a research cycle. Engagements are scoped narrowly and meant to end in a decision the client can act on.

Why buyers use more than one group

Most customers arrive with a single requirement. The overlaps below are the ones that most often turn into a second.

Cryogenic equipment and gases

A storage tank and the product that goes into it are normally bought from two suppliers with no reason to speak to each other. Sizing capacity against a real supply contract rather than a nominal figure is a different calculation when one party sees both sides.

Steel and cryogenic equipment

Pressure vessel plate, dished ends and cryogenic vessels share the same certification logic and often the same fabricators. Construction and expansion projects tend to need both inside one schedule.

Trade and business advisory

Sourcing projects often start as a prior question: is this market or supply route viable at all. Advisory answers it, and the trade group executes only if the answer is yes, so the assessment is not written by someone with nothing at stake.

If you are not sure which group it belongs to: Plenty of requirements sit across two groups, or in none of them cleanly. Describe what you need to buy, sell or verify and we will route it internally. If it falls outside what we can do properly, we will say so at the first conversation.
